Ducks Reassign Mueller to San Diego (AHL)

The Ducks have reassigned center Chris Mueller to the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

In addition to today’s roster move, the Ducks have assigned center Nate Thompson to San Diego (AHL) on a Long-Term Injury Conditioning Loan.

Mueller, 29 (3/6/86), did not appear in a game for Anaheim following his recall from San Diego on Nov. 24. Mueller has played 16 games with the Gulls this season, collecting 4-10=14 points with 22 penalty minutes (PIM). The 5-11, 206-pound center returns to San Diego ranked second among Gulls leaders in scoring and assists, tied for second in shots on net (40) and tied for third in goals.
