The Ducks have reassigned left wing Harry Zolnierczyk to the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Zolnierczyk, 28 (9/1/87), did not appear in last night’s game following his recall from San Diego earlier in the day. Zolnierczyk has scored 2-1=3 points with one power-play goal (PPG) and 21 penalty minutes (PIM) in eight games with the Gulls this season. He currently ranks tied for second among team leaders in PPG and shots on net (23), and third in PIM.
Signed as a free agent by Anaheim on July 3, 2015, Zolnierczyk has scored 5-4=9 points with 83 PIM in 59 career NHL games with Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and the New York Islanders.
