On Wednesday, the Anaheim Ducks re-signed goaltender Anthony Stolarz to a two-year contract, worth $950,000 per year. The 26-year-old is on the last year of a two-year deal, with a cap hit of $750,000.
A New Jersey native, Stolarz was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the second round (45th overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. He largely played for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the AHL while with the Flyers organization, appearing in 19 NHL games between 2017 and 2019. Approaching the 2019 trade deadline, he was dealt to the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for goaltender Cam Talbot.
