Corey Perry scored a tiebreaking goal late in the second period, John Gibson made 28 saves and the Ducks defeated the skidding Detroit Red Wings 4-2 on Friday night.
Kesler made it 4-2 at 5:04 of the third, following up his own rebound with a backhand past Howard.
Grant put the Ducks back in front 2-1 at 2:48 of the second when he capitalized on a wild scramble for his 10th goal. Howard had two Red Wings on top of him as he tried to cover up a shot by Jakob Silfverberg, but the loose puck trickled to Grant for his second goal in three games.
