Defenseman Simon Despres has returned to the Ducks from his Long-Term Injury Conditioning Loan (San Diego). The 24-year-old has joined the team in Boston, but remains on Injured Reserve.
Despres earned 1-1=2 points and six penalty minutes in four games with the San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League. His lone goal came on the power play in San Diego's 5-2 loss, Jan. 23 at Texas.
The Laval, Quebec native hasn't played with the Ducks since suffering a concussion in an October 16 game vs. Colorado at Honda Center. Colorado's Tyson Barrie was suspended three games for an illegal hit on Despres in that contest.
