The Anaheim Ducks announced Wednesday night that defenseman Cam Fowler would undergo surgery to repair fractures involving his orbital bone, cheekbone, and upper jaw none.
Injury Update:
Cam Fowler was struck in the face with a puck on Monday night. A CT scan revealed a complex right facial fracture involving the orbital bone, cheekbone and upper jaw bone. He will have surgery Friday, after which his expected absence will be known and announced.— Anaheim Ducks (@AnaheimDucks) November 15, 2018As stated in the tweet, the surgery will be done Friday and the team will not know how long he will be out until it has been completed.
