The torch Bruce Jenner carried in the run-up to the 1984 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles is heading to the auction block.
The 24-inch brass torch, which Jenner carried through Lake Tahoe, Nev., is being offered for auction by Heritage Auctions at its Platinum Night Sports Auction in Chicago on July 30. The 31-year-old torch could sell for $20,000 or more.
"This is the first major piece of Jenner memorabilia to surface and we expect collectors will find it every bit as significant as we think it is," said Chris Ivy, director of sports auctions at Heritage.
