This year's Emmy Awards show was labeled a celebration of diversity.
But producers missed a prime opportuinity to tip a hat to one of the most popular series about African-Americans, "The Game."
The ceremony overlooked "The Game" in the "final curtain" montage about shows that ended this year. The tribute included salutes to "Two and A Half Men," "Mad Men" and "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart."

"The Game," which centered on the players on a fictional San Diego football team and the women involved with them, closed its nine-season run last July.
