Benedict Cumberbatch's baby has a name, and it's totally normal.
The uniquely named "Sherlock" star welcomed a son with new bride Sophie Hunter in early June and managed to keep the little guy's moniker shrouded in secrecy. While "Cumberbaby" was a perfectly suitable pseudonym for the arrival, the boy's parents went and gave him a proper name: Christopher Carlton, according to People.
The Oscar nominee's rep did not immediately respond to The Times' request for confirmation.
The People report said Carlton is a name passed down by the men in the British actor's family -- Cumberbatch and his father, Timothy, also share the name.
