As a fan of any sport, it is always hard to watch your favorite player leave. Whether it be via trade, free agency, or a buyout, it’s never easy watching them put on the jersey for another team. For the first time since being traded and bought out, Corey Perry and Andrew Cogliano, both Dallas Stars now, have made the journey back to Orange County and will be honored by the Anaheim Ducks during tonight’s game.
Both players had been an integral part of the Anaheim Ducks’ success for years. However, with the new direction Bob Murray wanted to take his team, both Perry and Cogliano no longer fit the vision.
