The Anaheim Ducks have added some forward depth to the organization as they signed forward Mason Raymond.
He will join the Ducks’ organization on a one-year, two-way deal worth $675,000 in the NHL and $225,000 in the AHL.
Raymond dressed in just 88 games over the last two seasons in Calgary and has 28 points to show for it.
As a result of Raymond’s struggles the Flames elected to buy him out in favor of some cap relief.
Raymond’s best days are almost certainly behind him but in 2013-14 he tallied 19 goals and 45 points while dressing in all 82 games for Randy Carlyle’s Toronto Maple Leafs.
