Anaheim Ducks sign Jeff Schultz

The Anaheim Ducks continue to use the free agent market in an effort to improve the team’s depth.

The latest player to join the organization is Jeff Schultz, who put pen to paper on a two-way contract.

The 6’6’ blue liner has dressed in 409 NHL games, however, the last time he had more than a cup of coffee in the NHL was with the Washington Capitals in 2012-13.

Over the last three seasons he has tallied 46 points while suiting up in 188 games with the Los Angeles Kings’ AHL affiliate.

At 30 his best days are behind him but it doesn’t hurt to have another guy with a lot of experience joining the organization.
