All lanes on the northbound 14 Freeway in the Antelope Valley were reopened Thursday after being closed when a big rig overturned, caught fire and spilled oil on the roadway.
A SigAlert was issued at 4:26 a.m., soon after the incident that occurred just north of Pearblossom Highway. It was unclear if anyone was injured in the wreck, the California Highway Patrol said.
All freeway lanes were closed as crews removed oil from the road. The lanes were reopened at 12:02 p.m. according to the CHP.
