Wichita State 11, No. 21/19 UCF 4
Wichita State shook off a slow start against No. 21/19 UCF and exploded for an 11-4 win on Friday night in front of a capacity crowd to tie the Knights at the top of the conference standings. The Shockers trailed 4-0 after three innings and UCF was able to load the bases once more in the fourth without further damage, allowing Wichita State to score 11 unanswered runs over the final two innings for the stunning victory.
Neleigh Herring tied the game with two outs in the bottom of the fifth inning, clubbing a grand slam for Wichita State to square the game at 4-4.
