The Tulane Green Wave secured their second conference victory tonight after shutting out UTSA on the road.
The Green Wave controlled the first set through, winning comfortably 25-18. Tulane came from behind in the second to steal the set 25-23, then finished the match with a decisive third set, closing it out with a final tally of 25-22.
Sophomore Avery Burks led the offensive effort again, leaving 11 kills against the Roadrunners. Sami Jacobs followed with 9 kills as well as two service aces.
Jordan White hit a stunning .700, having 7 total kills from 10 attempts, and contributed 5 block assists.
