IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly women’s basketball awards for the week ending Sunday, December 1.
Player of the Week
Jordyn Jenkins, R-Sr., G/F, UTSA
Jenkins led the Roadrunners to a pair of road wins against UNC Greensboro and Towson. The redshirt senior average 16 points on 52 percent shooting, whiling adding 5.5 rebound per game.
Freshman of the Week
Kendall Sneed, Fr., G, Tulane
Sneed led the Green Wave to an 83-81 win over Florida, recording her second consecutive double-double with 22 points and 11 assists.
