UTSA Improves to 7-0 in American Women's Hoops

The UTSA women's basketball team secured a 73-63 victory over UAB in American Athletic Conference action at Bartow Arena on Saturday, extending their winning streak to nine, the program's longest since the 2008-09 season.

The Roadrunners (16-2, 7-0 The American) bested the Blazers (12-7, 3-4 The American), as redshirt senior Jordyn Jenkins led the way, scoring 21 with nine rebounds, two steals and a block. UTSA's guards shined, as junior Sidney Love tallied 14 points, six assists, and five rebounds, while graduate student Nina De Leon Negron scored 14 to go with five helpers and five boards.
