PROVIDENCE, R.I. – USF freshman Kyle Flexsenhar was named the American Men's Golf Player of the Week and earned the league’s final weekly honor of the season, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Flexsenhar finished with two straight under par rounds at the Wolfpack Spring Open hosted by NC State Apr. 14-15 at the Lonnie Pool Golf Course. The Florida native posted his best finish as a Bull and carded a 2-under 211 (72-69-70) in three rounds at the event. He set a new top 54 hole mark and led USF to a fourth-place finish in a field that included five ranked teams.
