PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league's weekly softball honors, for the week ending Feb. 28.
Lauren Evans • 1B • So. • USF • Land O' Lakes, Fla.
Evans has been selected as Player of the Week after recording nine hits in 18 at-bats over the Bulls' last six games. The sophomore led the team with nine RBIs on the week and scored seven runs. She tallied five extra-base hits, with two doubles, two triples and a home run.
