PROVIDENCE, R.I. – USF junior Christian DiMarco was named the American Men's Golf Player of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday.
DiMarco was the runner-up in a field of 80 at the Querencia Cabo Collegiate Feb. 26-28 in Los Cabos, Mexico. He shot under par in all three rounds (67-70-68) to finish at 8-under and just one shot behind individual champion Corey Pereira of Washington. The junior carded his third Top 10 performance as a Bull, and led USF to a seventh-place finish as a team.
