UNCASVILLE, Conn. – No. 4 seed USF will return once more to the semifinal round of the 2020 American Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Championship thanks to a 64-50 quarterfinal win over No. 5 seed Tulane on Saturday at the Mohegan Sun Arena. The Bulls are scheduled to play the winner of No. 8 seed Temple and No. 1 seed UConn on Sunday at 4 p.m. (ET) on ESPN2.
Sydni Harvey logged a career high with 28 points on 7-of-14 shooting (10-of-12 from the free-throw line) and added four rebounds for USF. Elena Tsineke tallied 14 points and a pair of assists for the Bulls, and Bethy Mununga gathered in a game-high 14 rebounds.
