LOS ANGELES – UConn seniors Napheesa Collier and Katie Lou Samuelson and junior Crystal Dangerfield were tabbed to the John R. Wooden Award Late Season Top 20 Watch List, as announced by the Los Angeles Athletic Club Monday night.
UConn is the only school with three selections on the list and is one of four programs with multiple selections.
The players on the list are considered strong candidates for the 2019 John R. Wooden Award Women's Player of the Year presented by Wendy's. Players not appearing on this list are still eligible for the National Ballot, which will be announced in early March.
