PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s first weekly women’s basketball honors, for the week ending Sunday, Dec. 22.

Wright carried UCF to a 3-0 week, averaging 23.3 points and 3.7 assists while shooting 51 percent (25-of-49) from the field and a perfect 14-of-14 from the foul line. The Knights defeated Quinnipiac, Saint Mary’s and Wright State, with Wright hitting double-figures in all three outings. Against Saint Mary’s, she scored 30 points with a career-high 12 field goals, dishing out seven assists with four steals.
