IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly football honors for the week-ending Sept. 17.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
John Rhys Plumlee • Sr. • QB • UCF
Plumlee turned in his second game this season with 300 passing yards and 100 rushing yards as he led UCF to a 40-14 win at Florida Atlantic. He completed 25 of 36 passes for a career-high 339 yards and a touchdown and finished with 121 rushing yards and two TDs on 16 carries.
