PROVIDENCE, R.I. – UCF senior Ashley Holder was named the American Women's Golf Player of the Week on Wednesday after posting a Top 10 finish at the UCF Challenge.
Holder tied for 10th in a field of 96 that included 10 ranked teams, including No.10 Miami, No. 19 Texas and No. 15 Kent State. The senior finished 5-under 211 (67-75-69) during the event with two rounds of 60. She led the Knights to a third-place finish at 10-under 854 (280-288-286) in the team rankings. Texas and Mississippi State joined UCF at -10 finishing in a three-way tie for third.
