PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league's weekly men's basketball honors for the ninth week of the college basketball season.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Aubrey Dawkins - UCF - RS-Jr. - G - Durham, N.C.
Dawkins was awarded his second Player of the Week accolade after leading the Knights to a 2-0 start to conference play. He averaged 16.5 points per game on 63-percent shooting from the floor and added 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. UCF has now won six-straight games and 11 of their past 12.
