IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly softball honors, for the week ending Sunday, March 20.
Player of the Week
Jada Cody * So. *UTL * UCF
Cody continued her stellar production at the plate for UCF during a midweek victory against Ohio State and a three-game weekend sweep of Furman in Orlando, batting .636 with six extra-base hits, 10 RBI, a 1.545 slugging percentage and five runs for the Knights. Cody posted three RBI in each of the three wins against Furman, scorching the Paladins for three hits in game one on March 19 and adding a pair of hits and two runs scored to the RBI count in the series finale on March 20.
