PROVIDENCE, R.I. – UCF freshman Bobby Bai was named the American Athletic Conference Men's Golf Player of the Week after leading his team to the 3M Augusta Invitational title, the league announced on Wednesday.
Bai paced the Knights during action at the 3M Augusta Invitational Apr. 1-2 in Augusta, Georgia. The rookie carded three rounds in the 60s (69-68-69) and finished 10-under 206, just one shot off individual medalist Dylan Meyer of Illinois. UCF won the event by four strokes (279-280-277: 836) and claimed the title for the second time in a field that included six ranked teams.
