PROVIDENCE, R.I. - With all eyes on the American Athletic Conference, the league did not disappoint with two thrilling contests that involved four of the conference's top-five teams in the standings, two ranked squads, two games decided by five points or less, ESPN's College GameDay and two wins that put a first-place tie at the top of the standings. At the Fertitta Center with GameDay on hand, UCF snapped No. 8/6 Houston's 33-game home streak and earned a road win against the highest-ranked team in program history for a resume-building win. No. 23/22 Cincinnati was able to hold off Memphis at home as both the Bearcats and Cougars now sit atop the league standings at 14-2.
