Cinicinnati joined Tulane and UCF in the third College Football Playoff rankings of the season released Tuesday night.
UCF moved up to No. 20 on the strength of its win against Tulane last weekend. The Green Wave remained in the rankings at No. 21, while the Bearcats came in at No. 25.
The American is one of six conferences with at least three teams in the CFP top 25, joining the SEC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12 and ACC.
