Taplin earns his first player of the week accolade after leading Tulsa to an unbeaten week in conference play as the Golden Hurricane defeated Memphis and Temple. Running the point, Taplin averaged 15.5 points, 5.0 assists and 3.0 steals while shooting 55-percent from the field and 50-percent from three-point range.
