Tulsa claimed its fourth straight American series win with a doubleheader sweep at ECU by scores of 8-1 and 5-1 on Friday afternoon. Rylie Spell's three-run homer capped a six-run third inning as Tulsa took game one of the three-game set with an 8-1 win over ECU. Chenise Delce picked up her team-leading 12th victory in the circle, while Sarah Briers and Tori Stafford each drove in a pair of runs to help Tulsa sweep the doubleheader with 5-1 win over ECU in game two.
