Tulsa Increases Lead Following Day 2 of 2025 American Women’s Golf Championship

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – Tulsa remains atop the leaderboard after two rounds at the 2025 American Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship, being held at the Southern Hills Plantation Club. The Golden Hurricane shot a round-best of 2-over 290 to take a 15-stroke lead after 36 holes. Charlotte is in second place, while East Carolina is in third.

The average score on the second day of play at Southern Hills Plantation Club was 75.69 over the 55 completed rounds. Over the two days, the average score is 75.36 across 110 rounds. Wichita State's Kate Tilma shot up the leaderboard following a tournament best 5-under 67 in the second round to enter the final round in 4th place at 3-under 141.
