MOBILE, Ala. (Tulane Athletics) – Tulane women's golf started off the 2017-18 season with a bang, taking first place at the USA Intercollegiate by a 10-stroke margin.
Tulane closed the tournament strong, posting a 279 (-9) in the final round to finish with an 857 (-7). Tulane outdistanced Lamar (867, +3), UAB (877, +13) and host South Alabama (877, +13) to bring home the program's first tournament trophy since sharing the 2014 Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational title with UNLV. The Green Wave's final round score was the team's lowest round since tallying a 271 in the second round of the 2015 UCF Challenge.
