IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly swimming and diving awards.
SWIMMING ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Catherine Russo, Graduate Student, Tulane
Russo captured two individual events as Tulane defeated Vanderbilt on Friday, September 27. The graduate student won the 50-yard freestyle in 23.25 and the 100-yard butterfly in 55.21.
DIVING ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Rachel Casebolt, Senior, Tulane
Casebolt swept the springboard events against Vanderbilt on September 27. The senior won the 1-meter event with a score of 247.
