Tulane Picks Up First Round WNIT Against Alabama, 53-52

NEW ORLEANS – Sophomore guard Kolby Morgan scored 19 points, including the tying and go-ahead free throws with 18 seconds remaining, as Tulane edged Alabama 53-52 in Round One of the Postseason WNIT. The Green Wave will face the winner of Mercer at Georgia Tech which is set to tip Thursday night at 7 p.m. ET.

Morgan went a perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line and recorded a game-high five steals in the win. Junior guard Leslie Vorpahl chipped in with six points and seven assists while classmate Courtnie Latham scored eight points.
