The American Athletic Conference's Racial Equality Action Group has announced its mission statement. The mission statement is as follows:
Together with its members, the American Athletic Conference is committed to racial equality and establishing an enviornment that embraces equity, diversity, advocacy, accountability, and education for student-athletes, conference staff, administrators and coaches. Together, and with a commitment to immediate and ongoing action, we will be a part of the solution by engaging in challenging conversations and creating allies in the fight against racial and social injustice.
