PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the 2019 women’s soccer awards, voted on by the league’s 10 head coaches.
Regular season champion Memphis earned for year-end honors, as Elizabeth Moberg earned Goalkeeper of the Year, Clarissa Larisey was named co-Offensive Player of the Year and Mya Jones was unanimously selected as the league’s Rookie of the Year. Memphis’ coaches were also recognized as the Coaching Staff of the Year.
USF’s Evelyne Viens was named the co-Offensive Player of the Year, the second year in a row she has earned the honor, while teammate Andrea Hauksdottir repeated as Midfielder of the Year.
