PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly women’s basketball honors for the week ending Sunday, Dec. 18.

Senior Feyonda Fitzgerald led the Owls to a 2-0 week, which included an upset victory over No. 17/16 DePaul. The guard averaged 22.0 points, 3.5 assists, and 3.5 steals as Temple moved to 7-3 overall. In the 84-74 win over DePaul, Fitzgerald led all players with 25 points, adding four rebounds, and three assists.
