PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly men’s basketball honors following the opening weekend of the 2016-17 men’s basketball season.

Enechionyia was named the most outstanding player of the NIT Season Tip-Off after averaging a double-double in Temple’s victories over No. 25/rv Florida State and No. 19/17 West Virginia. The junior had 16 points and eight rebounds as the Owls knocked off the Seminoles, 89-86, on Thanksgiving.
