Temple setter Kyra Coundourides was named to the 2016 CoSIDA Academic All-America Third Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors Association (CoSIDA).
The junior is majoring in kinesiology and has a 4.00 grade point average.
Coundourides finished the season with 15 double-doubles for the Owls and was the lead setter for the top hitting team in The American as Temple hit .248 on the season. Coundourides finished second in the league with 10.90 assists per set.
