DALLAS (SMU) - After a record-breaking five-goal performance versus Cincinnati on Saturday night, Garrett McLaughlin was named the United Soccer Coaches National Player of the Week, it was announced Tuesday afternoon.
The honor comes on the heels of being named the AAC offensive player of the week on Monday, in addition to College Soccer News' national player of the week and a first-team selection to Top Drawer Soccer's team of the week.
McLaughlin becomes the second Mustang to take home the United Soccer Coaches' award this season, joining goalkeeper Shane Lanson who earned the honor in September after earning a clean sheet versus then-No.
