WEST CHESTER, OHIO - SMU’s women edged Tulsa in a tight race, while the Tulsa men made it three-straight at the 2016 American Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships, Saturday morning.
The women got things started and SMU came out on top by two points, halting Tulsa’s reign, 45-47. The Mustangs earned the victory with three runners coming in in the top six, led by freshman Hannah Miller, who finished second with a time of 20:23.6. Fellow freshman Charlotte-Tara Murphy (20:44.
