BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – One of the strongest teams all week at Southern Hills Plantation Club, SMU put an exclamation point on the weekend to claim the 2022 American Men’s Golf Championship on Sunday. The Mustangs finished with a third round score of 12-under-par 276 to establish a 54-hole tournament scoring record of 835 (282-277-276, -29) and capture their second American team title.
