SMU (12-3, 2-0) plays its first American Athletic Conference home game, hosting Temple (9-6, 0-2) on Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET. The Mustangs have won eight straight after a pair of road victories to open league play, 75-44 at East Carolina on Saturday and 58-54 at Memphis on Dec. 27.
Temple visits Dallas in hopes of claiming its first conference win of the season. The Owls ended then-No. 8 SMU's 18-game unbeaten streak last January in the only meeting between the two teams in 2015-16.
