IRVING, Texas – SMU men’s golf alum Bryson DeChambeau played a key role as a member of the victorious United States team at the 43rd Ryder Cup this past weekend at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin. The U.S. defeated Europe by a 19-9 final score at the end of the three-day event, the most points scored and the largest team margin of victory in the competition since the 28-point format was introduced in 1979.
DeChambeau, making his second career Ryder Cup start, finished the weekend with a 2-0-1 record and earned a total of 2.
