Rice Wins 2025 American Women’s Swimming and Diving Championship

IRVING, Texas – Rice captured the 2025 American Women’s Swimming and Diving Championship Saturday, February 22, at the Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center and Barr-McMillion Natatorium in Dallas.

Heading into the final event, the 400-yard freestyle relay, Rice led with a 5.5 point lead over second-place FIU. In the race, the Panthers finished second in 3:19.68, but Rice placed fourth in 3:21.55 to clinch the conference title by 1.5 points. Rice finished with 1,475.5 points to FIU’s 1,474 points. Tulane placed third with 1,234.5 points, followed by East Carolina (1,177), North Texas (1,160) and Florida Atlantic (1,008).
