PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly volleyball honors for the week ending on September 15.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jordan Thompson * R-Jr. * OH * Cincinnati
Thompson picks up her third-consecutive weekly honor and seventh of her career, following another tremendous offensive outing over the weekend. Thompson averaged a conference-high 7.45 kills and 8.45 points per set, while hitting .394. She set a league record with 32 kills in a four-set win over crosstown rival Xavier and knocked down 35 kills in a five-set match against Indiana.
