PROVIDENCE, R.I. – UConn earned the 2016 American Athletic Conference women’s soccer regular-season title and clinched the No. 1 seed in the American Women's Soccer Championship, the league announced on Sunday. Memphis will be seeded No. 2 while SMU and USF claimed the third and fourth seeds, respectively.
The first round of the championship will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 2 with the top two seeds receiving a bye. The semifinals and title match will be held Nov. 4 and 6. All matches will be played at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium in Storrs, Conn.
