LAKEWOOD RANCH, Florida – No. 1 seed Memphis fell behind early in the second half, but stormed back to defeat No. 8 seed Tulsa, 4-2, in the fourth quarterfinal of the 2024 American Women’s Soccer Championship Monday, November 4 at the Premier Sports Campus in Lakewood Ranch, Florida.
With the win, Memphis (12-1-4) will play No. 4 Rice in the semifinals on Thursday, November 7 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN+. Tulsa concludes the season with a record of 7-9-4.
The Tigers took the lead in the 21st minute on a goal by Anna Hauer off assists from Elise Perron and Momo Nakao.
